Lisa
Vaughan, CPCU, ARM
Lisa is a native of upstate New York,
where both sides of her family are from. She lived in the Boston
area for five years and moved to Tulsa in 1976. Lisa attended
Jenks until the 11th grade, when she moved to Bishop Kelley
High School, graduating with the class of 1982. She graduated
from of the University of Tulsa School of Business in 1986.
Upon graduation, she worked in the Tulsa
office of Aetna Casualty and Surety. In 1990, Lisa transferred
with Aetna to their Portland, Oregon office as a commercial
claim supervisor. Two years later, she was promoted to Aetna's
home office in Hartford, Connecticut as a field claim operations
consultant. Lisa left Aetna and accepted a job with Hanover
Insurance Company in Oklahoma City as a multi-line claim representative,
eventually moving to Hanover's Tulsa office.
In September of 1995, Lisa joined CITGO
Petroleum Corporation in Tulsa as the assistant risk manager
and claim manager. After five years with CITGO, Lisa left the
work force to spend time at home with her daughter and joins
her husband David as a principal at Vaughan Insurance Group,
handling the accounting, marketing and human resource functions.
Lisa also has her Property/Casualty Oklahoma Agents' License
and is working on her Life and Health License.
Her hobbies include spending time with
her family, cheering on the New York Yankees, golf, cooking
and traveling. Lisa also enjoys volunteering for Big Brothers
Big Sisters, where served on the Tulsa Board of Directors for
three years and as the Taste of Tulsa coordinator for five years.
She has also donated her time to the Oklahoma and Oregon Multiple
Sclerosis Societies, the Washington State Special Olympics,
the Tulsa chapter of Delta Gamma Sorority and various school
activities for her three children.
